- Devotees have to wake up early in the morning and take a bath.
- After taking a bath, you should wear clean and washed clothes.
- Then take blessings of Lord Shiva so that you can do this vrat successfully.
- Now with your family or alone, visit the Shiv Temple and worship the Shiv Linga.
- Now offer Bael leaves, datura flowers, Panchamrat, Bhang and Prashad you made at home, etc., to Shiv Linga and chant Om Namah Shivaye.
- At the end of your prayers, do the Aarti of Lord Shiva.
